Terms and Conditions - Postal Pickup

Postal Pickup has the right to open any Letters, Parcels or Pallets to make sure there are no illegal items included.

Your PO Box is for your use only. One additional name may be added to your PO Box, other than the applicant. If mail is sent to your mailbox in a name or names other than the name(s) we hold on our records, the mail will be returned to sender where possible, otherwise the mail will be destroyed.

It is your responsibility to check your PO Box regularly, and ensure payments are up to date. You must collect your mail regularly and at least once a month. If your PO Box reaches capacity, we will advise you of this. If you do not collect your mail regularly, or if you do not maintain your rental payments, we may dispose of uncollected mail by returning it to the sender or securely destroying it. A charge for disposal may also be incurred.

You may nominate a third party to collect your mail. You must complete a third party nomination form in advance, otherwise we will not be in a position to release your mail. The person you nominate to collect your mail must present valid photographic ID upon collection. Acceptable ID includes passport, drivers licence or public services card.

To avail of the discounted rate for annual rental, this must be paid in full in advance. For monthly rental, all rental payments must be made in advance.

You agree not to use your PO Box for any illegal or fraudulent purposes.

We reserve the right to refuse your application for the rental of our Postal Boxes. Your mail box is private and will not be accessible to anyone except where we are legally obliged to permit access on foot of a court order or search warrant.

Terms and conditions - Parcel Pickup

It is your responsibility to ensure that the correct address information has been provided to the retailer dispatching your products to us. You must also ensure that the name you provide to the retailer or delivery company matches the name on the means of identification you will provide to us to collect your item. We accept no responsibility for any undelivered items. This is a matter between you, the purchaser, and the retailer or supplier.

Where recorded deliveries are dispatched to us, we will sign on your behalf to accept the delivery to our premises. We will accept no responsibility for the condition of the item received eg if the package is damaged. Any recourse you will seek will between you and the delivery company or the supplier

Parcel PickUp cannot be held responsible for the loss of a parcel if its address is incorrect or incomplete.

If we lose or damage a consignment, we will accept liability for a maximum amount of £50. If however, this maximum figure is greater than the actual value of the consignment, then we shall only be liable for the full value of that Consignment

Parcel PickUp reserves the right to withdraw service from registered customers, without explanation or advanced warning.

We are flexible in the size and weight of parcels we can take delivery of and store for you. However larger items, such as but limited to items such as kitchen appliances, furniture, heavy tools or equipment, which might require lifting equipment, will come under our pallet pickup service.

Parcel PickUp does not accept:

·         Time sensitive deliveries (such as tickets) unless prior consent from the Parcel PickUp agent has been given and agreed, in writing on a per delivery basis

·         Items which are visibly broken, damaged or leaking.

·         Illegal items of any description, including food items or consumable or perishable products such as fruit and meat delivered from outside the EU, as these may be illegal to import.

At Parcel PickUp, we endeavour to take collection of and store your parcels in a safe environment. However, we cannot be held responsible for the natural deterioration of goods while in our care. Therefore, collection should be made as soon as possible. If, for any reason, you are unable to collect your parcel/s, items held by us beyond 28 days will be charged a daily storage rate of £1 per day.

Parcels will only be released on receipt of your proof of identity and payment.

If we have been unable to contact you and have received no instruction from you within 12 weeks from the delivery date, we will assume you no longer require your parcel/s and will dispose of it/them. Please note that this is a last resort and we will try our utmost to get hold of you prior to disposal. A charge may be incurred of disposal.

Parcel PickUp reserves the right to change or amend its prices and services at any time and without prior notice. However, changes will only be implemented after they have been published on the Parcel PickUp website.

If you are having delivered food items, medicines or anything else which may require special handling, you must inform your Parcel PickUp agent before you make your purchase. We cannot be held responsible if we cannot accept delivery of any item, where you have already purchased it.

Postal Pickup does not take responsibility for damages or losses of forwarding parcels/pallets to customers once left our depot. This is done at the customers own risk.

Terms and Conditions - Pallet Pickup

The customer warrants that he is either the owner of the consignment or is authorised by such owner to accept these conditions on such owner's behalf.

Dangerous Goods must be disclosed by the Customer and if we, Pallet Pickup, agree to accept them for storage they must be classified, packed and labelled in accordance with the statutory regulations for the storage of the substance declared.

Pallet PickUp cannot be held responsible for the loss of a parcel if its address is incorrect or incomplete.

Pallet PickUp reserves the right to withdraw service from registered customers, without explanation or advanced warning.

Therefore, collection should be made as soon as possible. If, for any reason, you are unable to collect your pallets, items held by us beyond 14 days will be charged a daily storage rate of £3 per day per pallet. If you require longer term storage, our container hire service may be more appropriate. Please contact us for further information. If we have been unable to contact you and have received no instruction from you within 12 weeks from the delivery date, we will assume you no longer require your pallets and will dispose of it/them (please note that this is a last resort and we will try our utmost to get hold of you first). A charge may be incurred of disposal.
